About the Site
Ducksnorts began as an attempt to learn about web technologies while writing about my passion, baseball. From its humble origins (a histrionic rant about Hideki Irabu, if you must know), Ducksnorts has evolved into a place where devout Padres fans gather to read about and discuss their favorite team.

About the Author
I’ve been following baseball since the late-’70s, obsessing about it since the mid-’80s, writing about it since the mid-’90s, and writing full time about it since November 2006. Before turning my passion into my livelihood, I worked as a web developer and project manager for a Fortune 500 company here in San Diego. Before that, I edited scientific journals for a large publishing house. I still do occasional consulting work in those areas to help support my baseball addiction.
